Another shot from the same site as yesterday. I like how the artfully placed rocks seem random and lead the eye to the wall.

I like the composition very much. The rocks do a nice job of leading to the massive wall. I like the lightened grass and the near stark white of the clouds. Very well don, Harry!

Neat view and perspective.

About Me

Photography by Harry O’Connor - Retained-Images contains mostly new photographic images, but I occasionally dip into my slide and negative archives to present a favorite shot. I try to be more about photos than photoshop, but I am always trying to improve the images I present.

My primary camera is a Sony A700 with an 18-200mm and an older 100-300mm lens.

I have a Canon PowerShot G6 converted to Infrared.

My point-and-shoot is a Sony DSC V1 that I got in August 2004, and I haven’t shot a frame of film since.

I currently live in North Carolina, but have images from many locations around the U.S and a few locations in Canada, Mexico and Europe.
